Check-Outs/Leaving School
- Students who leave school for any reason must check out through the principal's office.
- A
student who desires to check-out during the school day must submit a
written request and a phone call from the parent or guardian to the
principal or the designated school official. This request is to be
turned in before the check-out will be approved. If a phone call and
written request are not received, the presence of an adult will be
required to check the student out of school.
- The principal or the designated school official will handle check-outs for sudden illness, accident, or other emergencies.
- The
reason for the request will determine whether the absence from any part
of the school day will be excused. Acceptable excuses are covered in
attendance policies.
- Only an excused check-out permits work to be made up.
